FAQs

DO YOU REQUIRE CLIENTS TO COUNT CALORIES?

No! Counting calories may create a caloric deficit to lose weight, but it doesn’t heal the body. The goal is to heal the body and let it naturally come down to its normal weight. 

SHOULD I BE SEEING A DOCTOR BEFORE WORKING WITH YOU?

Yes! If you are on medications to lower cholesterol and blood pressure then you need to be under the care of a physician. I will need you to go back to your doctor for blood work and to decide if lowering your medications is safe. 

If you want eating advice and are recovering from disordered eating or an eating disorder you need to have been under the care of a therapist.

AM I GOING TO HAVE TO WORK OUT ALL OF THE TIME?

That depends… do you like working out? If not, then we will come up with a plan that you will enjoy.
